• Dimensional– We design Star and Snowflake schemas based on the requirement and best practices for analytical and query processing. Each Dimension, Fact and measure is tested with business data to ensure it works with any complexities in the source data.
• Entity Relationship – While the ER modeling practices are more suitable for OLTP systems, certain reporting requirements may require the mart to be modeled in one of the Normal forms.
• OLAP – Online Analytical Processing model and database works very efficiently for certain analytical, slice and dice and query requirements. However it requires specific type of design pattern in order to organize dimensions and measures for optimum performance.
