ROLE BACKGROUND

This role is an opportunity to be a specialist providing business solution using MicroStrategy Tools for various requirements like ad-hoc reporting, ETL, building dashboard apps, administrating BI landscape, suggesting enterprise BI roadmaps and much more in an enterprise environment setup.

Key Responsibilities

  • Report and dashboard development in the MicroStrategy dimensional model
  • Translate reporting requirements documents into MicroStrategy dataset and dashboard outputs
  • Responsible for Information delivery across business units as required using MicroStrategy Business Intelligence tool
  • Development and maintenance of the MicroStrategy Data Model using MicroStrategy Architect
  • Provision of support to business users in relation to Reporting and Analytics
    Business requirements gathering and assessment of the impact of business changes on the MicroStrategy and Data Warehouse Model
  • Development and Maintenance of Knowledge Base
  • Support all outputs delivered and ensure sufficient quality checks in place to detect or resolve issues with input data.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 3- 4 years of relevant technical experience
  • Highly proficient with design and development of grid reports, report services documents, dashboards and scorecards
  • Excellent dashboard design skillset, including UI/visualization aspects and performance tuning of dashboards, intelligent cubes, transaction services
  • Business User requirements gathering, support and education
  • Experience of MicroStrategy Analytics Enterprise particularly Report Services Documents and Visual Insights
  • Dashboard development
    Strong knowledge on report bursting features, Narrowcast, Distribution services
  • Hands-on experience of Hadoop, Netezza, SQL Server and other BI tools, while not essential, would be a distinct advantage
  • Good knowledge on MicroStrategy Object Manager, Integrity Manager, Enterprise Manager, Command Manager, Web SDK, multi-source
