Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Maintain the project/progress trackers about the development activities.
- Participate in business requirements and design review sessions..
- Development for Web, Mobile and Big Data solutions utilizing multiple technologies such as Java, Hadoop and Open Source.
- Identify & troubleshoot technical scenarios during implementation & support phases.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
- Understand and execute test scenarios/test cases and documentation.
Required Skills
- Education Background: BE CS / B Tech / MCA / MCM
- 3-5 years of experience
- Good Experience in framework such as Core Java, J2ee, Spring, Hibernate, Struts, JQuery, JavaScript.
- Command over DBMS & RDBMS SQL, Oracle, PL/SQL
- Core Java, JEE (Servlets, JSPs, JSTL)
- Spring MVC and Hibernate
- Testing – JUnit and/or TestNG, TDD
- Mocking – Mockito, Powermock, Easymock
- Web Services -> experience working with REST/SOAP APIs JSON/Ajax (building services the front end can consume, having some front-end experience here is a bonus).
- Team player with effective problem-solving skills
- Willing to work in SEA time zone 7am to 4pm India Time.
- Excellent communication, presentation & documentation skills
